Earl's Palace in Kirkwell |
The year 1993 kicked off with a long drive through tons of monsoon like rain all the way to
Once we reached Kirkwall we lived our lazy days in a slow
lane taking time to visit well preserved Neolithic village on the edge of the bay of Skaill
and enjoying the isolation the Island
offered, meeting the cows and saying hello to the seals!! We were pleased that the rain decided to stop for us and found it
strange to have to go to sleep in the evenings in broad day light, the sun
refused to set in summer; strange but true natural phenomenon of the Northern Hemisphere!
